Yellow and Zucchini  Squash

Excalibur says  these particular varieties of Summer  Yellow Squash are the best to Dry:

The Squash should have good color and shape as well as meaty and young.  I find Squash easy and fast to Dehydrate.  You should:

  • Wash Squash
  • Slice 1/8″-1/4″
  • Peeling is not Required
  • Sanitize Trays and Place Slices on Trays
  • Dry at 125*F-52*C until Leather Feel
  • Can take up to 12 Hours to Dry Depending on Humidity
