I was reading several articles on this particular malady when I came across an article in Mother Earth Living about the use of Ginger, Curcumin (the main ingredient of Turmeric) aids in the management of pain. These two spices are important for pain management as well as fighting inflammation.
It seems Ginger Tea or Ginger Capsules are a remedy for inflammation. To make the Tea, mix a 2 inch piece of Ginger in a Medium pot of water and sweeten with Honey, Truvia or Stevia. Drink Ginger Tea throughout the day. As for the Ginger capsules, follow directions on the bottle. You can also grow your own Ginger.
Turmeric is another inflammatory fighter. It is in capsule form as well as growing your own. It is said it has greater pain fighting ability than 1,000 mg of Tylenol. I have used Turmeric as a help with the kidneys filtering system for my husband. Turmeric increased the filtering of my husbands kidneys 10 points.

Along with these two spices, walking, doing away with fried foods, eating fish, and eliminating sugar is important. It seems all of these inflammation fighters helps alleviate pain and make one more mobile giving quality of life.
